Bus 109
Testing out the iPhone‘s video recording capabilities, I decided to record my new commute to work.
Would have been more interesting if I sped it up, did some editing, and put music to it, but I guess this sort of gives an idea of what taking an uncrowded city bus in Shanghai is like.
Some highlights:
- PLA marching band! (1:58 mark in first video)
- Fire off of Shunchang Road (1:30 mark in third video)
Thank you for not putting music behind or editing it or speeding it up. Left untouched, it makes for a very submersive experience. It was totally like I was riding the bus through Shanghai. Very interesting!
My only advice would be to hold the iPhone sideways next time so that it records the video in landscape mode, which is better for viewing on traditional computer screens.
Well done though. I would be interested to see other bus routes.
